Question

A friend and I would like to go to the Sigunianshan area.  We are happy to use buses etc but how easily is it to get between the valleys?  What place names should we ask for?  Also can we walk and camp on our own in the areas or do we need a guide?Ta

There is direct bus from Chengdu to Siguniangshan. Within the scenic area, there are sighseeing battery car to shuttle among valleys. If you just want to hiking, seeing beautiful scenery, you can go without a guide, but you need a map. If you want a English guide, find a good one in advance, I mean perhaps in Chengdu. You can camp on your own, but better not in raining season.
