About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi,
I have been granted a single entry visa into mainland China ( Shenzen ) as it is my first visit to China. I will be there for about a month but would like to go to either Hong Kong or Macau for a weekend in between. Is this possible and is there any type of visa I can apply for whilst in China to do this ?
Thank you in advance

Mr.Richard, you don't need a visa to Hong Kong or Macau, Australian are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 90 days, are exempt from a visa to Macau for up to 30 days.

Mr.Richard, forget to mention that you can't return to Mainland China if you go to Hong Kong or Macau because you hold single-entry visa. Hong Kong and Macau apply different exit & enter controls from Mainland China, go to Hong kong or Macau means Exit Mainland China.

yes, you can travel in shenzhen at first, then go to Hongkong. Because if you go out of shenzhen, you can not come to the mainland again.
