About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

I am an Indian Citizen, with an Indian Passport, currently residing in UK for studies. I will be taking a trip to Hong Kong and Macau in October or November for 7 to 12 days. I know that an Indian citizen with an Indian passport does not require a visa for a stay of not more than 14 days, but in my case I am currently in UK and will be flying to Hong Kong directly from here, so will a visa be required in that case?
