HI, WE ARE GOING TO BE TAKING A YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE LAND TOURS ALONG THE YANGTZE RIVER. IS IT ADVISEABLE TO TAKE ANTI-MALARIA MEDICATION? HOW ARE THE MOSQUITOS IN THIS AREA??                      THANKYOU VERY MUCH

I did the Yangtze cruise 3 years ago and never saw one mosquito.  wonderful trip especially take the small gorge where you have to take a smaller boat and then into a big canoe.  Just fabulous and I want to do it again.  Take lots of photos.  Carry a small roll of toilet paper with you just incase.  Take lots of pepto bismal and amodium with you.  You will probably get 10hour bug so you will need these.  It is like Montezumas revenge.  Does not last long and you feel awful for a couple of hours and then it is over with but take the meds with you.
