About:Chinese Embassy in Belgium

Hello. I am an Irish citizen working in Belgium from Monday to Friday, travelling back to Ireland on weekends. Can I apply for a tourist visa in the Belgian Embassy? I am not a resident of Belgium so what additional documents do I need? I aam registered with Limosa

You shall apply for China visa at the China embassy in Ireland, you are not resident of Belgium, the members of EU countries should apply for China visa in their own country. I know that nationals of EU countries can work, move freely within the EU countries, so the China embassy ask us to apply for visa in our own county. I'm French, I work in UK, when I applied for China visa in london, I was told to apply for it in France.

Thank you for your reply Mrs Sabrina. IUnfortunatly due to work commitments it would be very difficut for me to get to the Chinese Embassy in Dublin as I would have to give in my passport with my application which means I would have to stay in Ireland for the week.

Is there any possiblity that I could apply through the Chinese Embassy in Brussels. I'm trying to call them for the last week and cant get through. I register every week with Limosa on line (social security in Belgium) which is required to state that I am here on business and register my company and the Belgian company I'm working with.
