About:China Business Visa

I have a Chinese F-visa for my current internship in mainland China. Does this visa entitle me to visit Hong Kong, or does that city operate on a completely different visa?

the China F visa doesn't entitle you to visit Hong Kong, Uk passport holders are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 180 days, you don't need a visa to HK, however, if you just hold a single-entry f visa, you have to obtain a new visa when you return to Mainland China from Hong Kong.
