My son and me go to China as tourists for 2 weeks. Do we need to have both the physical examination record ?

My son is 11, on the Diplobel website of the belgian governement I can read he needs also an International Passport.
On the website of the Chinese Embassy I can read childs can have a visum in the passport of a parent.

You don't need the Physical Examination Record for 2 weeks stay in China, only aliens who will stay in China for more than 6 months need medical checkup. You son need an International passport because he is 11, if he doesn't have passport, you can attach his photo on your visa application and declare it to the visa officer when you submit visa application.

Thanks for the reply Mr. Noah but I am a little confused about the answer.
You say my son need a international passport but if he doesn't have I can attach his phote when I submit visa application...

Do you mean he definitely needs a passport but when he doesn't have it at this moment I can get a visa for him in my passport and we show both passports at customs ?

Or can I get a Int passport for him and put the visa immediately in his new passport.

Thanks

Mr. Peeters, sorry to make you confused and I make a mistake, he doesn't need a passport to enter China if he can get a visa on your passport, which is accepted by Chinese immigration officers. however, I think that you'd better to apply for passport for your son if you want to travel overseas again.
