Hi Mrs. Dassie,You can take a bus at Hangzhou South Bus Station to Shanxiahu Town in Zhuji. There you can find a pearl market. I am sure that you will find various kinds of pearls there.Better not buy pearls near the West Lake, especially from those guys who claim that their pearls are produced in the West Lake. It is said that the West Lake hasn't produced pearls. Also there are many fake pearls near the West Lake.
