About:China Customs Declaration

I`m going to China next month on a TEFL teaching internship. I own two cameras - a Nikon SLR, and a Canon compact. I understand that Chinese customs regulations limit passengers to just one camera. However, what would the likely outcome be if I were to take both cameras with me? Both are for personal use, and I would not have a problem declaring them to Chinese customs upon entry into China.

Well, I think it is not a problem. You can take two cameras into China but just remember to fill in the declaration form and declare them to the customs. When you get out of China, the customs might check if you take two cameras out of China.
