I'm a Hong Kong resident (not permanent) but a Filipino citizen. I'm having trouble securing a multiple entry visa in Hong Kong. They only gave me a dual-entry one. Can I secure the visa from Manila? Since I will go to China mostly by land thru Hong Kong, I will not have a round trip plane ticket. Is this really necessary? I've been to China twice both for business, once to Shenzhen and another time by plane to Shangdong.

Hi..You said, you're a Hongkong resident, but a Filipino citizen...What kind of visa do you have? Hongkong or Chinese visa? What's the type, is it working or business or tourist?...Because you should have to get a separate visa in coming into the mainland China regardless of the nature of travel you have..If you have a CHinese business or tourist visa, you need to have a return ticket either plane ,train or ship.. this is a requirement at the immigration because your stay in just temporary..There's a specified time for your stay there..But, if you're a Chinese working visa holder, you don't need to have a return ticket but you need to be a POEA registered..
