About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

Good day, We are planning a group tour of Mainland China all travelling on South African passports. We are christians and would like to get confirmation that your country does not allow us carrying our Bible's with? Would we be allowed to pray to our Jesus Christ in your country? If Christianity is not allowed to be practised in your country then what do you say to the scripture that Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord? Awaitng to hear from you as our final arrangements largely depend on your country's attitude to Christianity.

Mr. Mohale, I don't think Christianity is forbidden in China. Actually, there is quite an active Christian community in China. I have been to an event in May (holy month) at a catholic church in Sheshan (near Shanghai).
Also, nobody forbids taking bibles. So I am sure you can safely travel to China. Obviously respect is asked towards people who don't believe - just as much as you ask to be respected for your strong belief in a Christian god.
