About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi
We're going on a cruise in early 2010 which includes one day at China for the great wall and 2 days in Hong Kong. We have dual Australian and British citizenship.1) Do we need a double entry 60 day visa for the 2 trips or just a single entry 30 day visa as we'll only be docked for 3 days in all but in two blocks a few days apart? 2) Do we need a visa at all for Hong Kong? 3) can we apply in person at Canberra? 4) and because we're cruising we don't have travel docs for hotels/flights etc so how do we sort that out as we won't get confirmed tickets till very shortly before we set sail? We do have an itnery all ready?

1). you just need a single entry visa to Mainland china, if you will enter China mainland once.
2). Both Australian and Bititish citizens are free of visa to Hk.
3). Yes, you can.
4). The visa is only 3 month valid, you are advised to apply for the Chian visa 1 month before your departure. Ithink you will have the round-way air tickets then. You can submit proof of your special travel without any hotel booking when submit your visa application.
