About:Shenzhen Travel

I will be in HK on 17/1.
Thinking of going to Shenzhen on the 18/1 and maybe Guongdong and any other places of interest in this surrounding area based on your suggestion/s??
I have to be back in Macau 21/1 to catch flight on 22/1 in the morning.
Can you please advice the best way of doing this trip as a "round robbin" so that I dont have to double back/forth?!? Most cost effective way, what weather is like, fastest route, and recommend some cheap clean hotels along the way (AUD50-80 range p/n) in Shenzhen and the other places to put my head down for the nite? I have bad legs/weak knees and would like hotels near subways, good food and shopping!
I am travelling on an Australian passport and I will arrange to have my China visa organised prior to leaving on this trip.
Thanking you.

Actually, I suggest that you just visit Shenzhen since 3 days sounds really urgently. So, please take mtr to Luohu Port via which you will enter into Shenzhen. On the afternoon of 20/1, please take bus from Shenzhen to Zhuhai, and then enter into Macau via Gongbei Port. Stay one night in Macau, and catch your flight the next morning.

In this case, you could book a hotel around Luohu where both of the subway and bus to Zhuhai are available. Please consider the Best Western Felicity Hotel, the Days Hotel Luohu and the Metropark Hotel Shenzhen.
