On our way out of Shanghai on September 15, 2009, What subway line shall we get on if we are near Nanjing East Road (Nanjing Hotel) and we are going to Pudong International Airport? Is it Subway Line 2? How much would it cost per person? Is there a train that would take us directly from East Nanjing Road to the Pudong International Airport Or do we still have to transfer from the Subway Line 2 to the Maglev train at Longyang station?Is the Nanjing East Road (Subway Line 2) still open around 11PM? What time does the Subway Line 2 close?Thank You.

hi Desiree, The last train of subway line 2 passing East Nanjing Road is around 23:14. you can take subway line 2 to Longyang Station and then transfer to the maglev train to Pudong int'l airport. But please note that the last maglev train from Longyang Road to the airport starts at 21:30.If you find the time of the maglev is not very convenient for you, you can take the airport shuttle line 3 at Longyang Station. This shuttle service ends around 23:00 everyday.
