Urgent inquiry
I am a Philippine passport holder seeking confirmation of my entry requirements.
My itinerary is:
Doha, Qatar → Chongqing, China arrived at 14:35 departure 18:50 (4- hour and 15 min layover)
Chongqing → Quanzhou, China arrived 21:10 departure 14:20 next day(domestic flight 17 hours and 10 min lay over) same airline xiamen airlines
Quanzhou → Philippines
I have seperate ticket and need to collect my baggage and check it in again both need to clear immigration at Chongqing and quanzhou.
Can I enter China without obtaining a visa in advance under the 24-hour visa-free transit policy? If not, do I need a Chinese visa before departure? Can I apply for a temporary entry permit at Chongqing airport in my circumstances?
