About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am repeating this query because I'm not sure if Mr. Dale will see my previous reply. I am a permanent resident of Japan (i.e., I hold a very long-stay visa; in fact, it's infinite). I have 2 passports - American and Italian. The American one has the actual permanent residency stamp within it. If I show my Japanese Alien Registration Card (which references my American passport) to prove that I am a permanent resident of Japan, can I use my Italian passport to get a tourist visa to China?

Again, schreiber, I'm afraid that you couldn't use your Italian passport to apply for the Chinese visa, you'd better use your Japanese one.
