About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Itinerary eligibility

Hello, I am traveling from the US to HK for 4 days then to Beijing and shanghai for 8 days and then flying directly back to the US. Would I be eligible?

Yes, your itinerary is eligible for 240 hour visa free transit, but you should take care that your flight from mainland China to US does not have a landing of any kind in Hong Kong. Have a nice visit to China.

It is OK as long as when you depart China you do not go to Hong Kong, Any other place is fine
