About:Visa on Arrival

Conflicting approval for VOA approval - US citizen

Hello,
 
I am reading some conflicting reports online. Do you know if I a US citizen can still go thru to Shenzhen by train with a 5-day Visa on Arrival (VOA) from Hong Kong to Shenzhen?

There are no conflicting reports because something like this was never possible. If you want to obtain a Shenzhen 5 day visa on arrival your options are: Lo Wu / Luohu overland border crossing (recommended because it is easily reachable by suburban train directly from the center of Hong Kong), Huanggang overland border crossing (reachable by bus or taxi only) and Shekou, ferry port for Hong Kong to Shekou ferries. These are three only options. Taking a through train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen was never an option. Have a nice visit to Shenzhen.
