Colombian Passport VOA to Shenzhen

Will be traveling to Hong Kong at the end of the year and will like to go to Shenzhen on January 1, 2026. Questions:
- Will the Lo Wu crossing be open on January 1, do you think?
- Are Colombian passport holders eligible to apply for the VOA to Shenzhen? I also have a USA passport, but the fee is a lot more expensive. If I can do the Colombian, I would prefer that to save some money, unless the chances of getting it are higher with the US?

Thanks!

- Lo Wu / Luohu border crossings will be definitely open on January 1.
- Colombian citizens are eligible for a 5 day Shenzhen VOA and the price is 130 CNY, the same for all the citizenship, US included. There is no difference in the price based on the citizenship. In other words, as far as the price is concerned, it is definitely the same which passport will you use.

I wish you a nice visit to Shenzhen.
