About:Ancient City of Gaochang

awaiting CVACS confirmation

I applied for a tourist visa over a week ago but I have not heard back online or had any e mails. Can i print everything off and come in to the embassy as i am due to travel in less than 2 weeks?

Yes, you can. Actually, after submitting all the documents to the CVACS, you will be given a pick-up receipt, on which the date to collect your passport and visa is indicated. Anyway, it has been a week, and it's a good idea to see what's going on, because it usually takes 4 working days to process the visa.

I have submitted my application online on Easter Monday and I haven't heard back as well. I have printed out all the documents. I will go to the visa centre in London next week and see whether they will just take my paperwork.

For reference. You cannot go to the CVACS without having your documents submitted and approved online first
