About:Ferry of Shekou Port, Shenzhen

Visiting Shenzhen from HK using Rail

Hi I'm also looking to use the 240-hour visa to visit China as a tourist. I plan to fly into HK and then use rail to enter China. Can I use the HK West Kowloon as an entry port to go into China?

Sorry that West Kowloon is not an eligible port to China. You can take a ferry to Shekou Port of Shenzhen, providing a ticket to leave for another country or region except for HK to make a eligible 240h visa free transit route. Or you can apply for a Shenzhen VOA at Luohu, Huanggang or Shekou Port from 09:00 - 17:00 at a cost of CNY 130.
