About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa question

We fly from Germany to Laos and will have 2 stops on our onboard flight: a stop in in Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (2:35) and a transfer in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (4:35). Total flight is 24 hours. Do we need a chinese visa for this flight? Thanks a lot for answering.

No, you don't need a visa for this. If your total time in Mainland China is longer than 24h, you will be given 240h visa free transit and if no longer than 24h, 24h visa free transit will satisfy and you need to get 24h temporary entry permit at Taoxian Airport.
