Entry visa stipulations

do all multiple entry visas require you to leave china after a certain amount of days and if so, how long do you need to leave?

Is it the same for a double entry visas?

The duration of stay of each entry of both multiple entry visa and double entry visa vary from case to case and is decided by the consular officer. Normally it's 30-180 days per entry. There is no regulation on how long you need to leave; you can re-enter right after you finish the exit procedures.
