About:Visa on Arrival

Entry port and exit port

If I apply the visa on arrival at Shekou Port, do I need to leave Shenzhen from Shekou Port? Or I can use other ports to leave Shenzhen, like taking high speed train to go back to Hong Kong?

There are only three border crossings that you can use to enter Shenzhen from Hong Kong: Shekou if arriving by ferry, Lo Wu / Luohu if arriving by MTR and Huanggang if arriving by car, bus... Regardless of the border crossing you take to enter Shenzhen, after your stay in Shenzhen, you are allowed to return back to Hong Kong by taking any border crossing and by any mean of transport, high speed train included. There are no limitations as far as your return back to Hong Kong are concerned. It is entirely up to you and up to your preference. Have a nice visit to Shenzhen.
