About:Hong Kong to Shenzhen High Speed Trains

I want to visit Shenzhen for the day from HK

I am in Hong Kong for a few days and would like to jump on a bullet train and visit Shenzhen for the day, do I need to apply for visa or is it as simple and boarding the train, I have an Australian passport
