Hi, we're travelling from Auckland to Philippines with transit in shanghai for 15hrs, do we still need to apply transit 24 hr visa to do sightseeing in Shanghai? We have Philippines passport and New Zealand passport. Thanks.

Yes, Philippines passport holder need to get a 24h temporary entry permit at the border counter to leave the airport for sightseeing. But New Zealand passport holders are granted 30-day visa-free entry, so he or she can simply go through the immigration check to enter China.
