About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 Hr TWOV

Hi, me and my wife are travelling from YVR to LHE Via Guangzhou. Our transit time for outbound flight is about 12 hr and about 18 hr for our inbound flight. Since i am travelling first time on this route , i don't know whether i will be getting the entry permit on arrival or not. Can anybody share his experience?

You are eligible for the 24h visa free transit for both inbound and outbound flights, which allow you to stay in the restricted area of the airport. The temporary entry permit stamp is what allows you to leave the airport and for Canada passport holders, it's very possible that you can get it at immigration counter.
