About:Shanghai Cruise Ports

144 hour transit Visa

Hello, we disembark the MSC Bellissima on 1/16/25. We want to stay for two days and then fly home from PVG to LAX. Do we apply for the transit visa or do we need the full blown visa? Thank you

So you will disembark from an international cruise? Then you are eligible for the 144h visa free transit, in which case no visa is needed. Just note that the flight from PVG to LAX should not have any other landings in Chinese Mainland.
