About:China Visa

240-hour free transit visa or 144-hour transit free visa

Hello,

I hold a Canadian passport, and I plan to travel to Hainan in May 2025. Do I qualify for 240-hour or 144-hour transit free visa if I travel from Macau to Hainan Haikou airport then to Hong Kong? Please let me know. Thank you very much!

Yes, it is an eligible route if you travel all by air. BTW, 144-hour has been extended to 240-hour.
