15 days Visa Free Entry | German Passport Holder

Can I use the high-speed train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen and get my 15 days Visa Free Entry on the station in Shenzhen? I read that I will not be able to get Visa on Arrival at the train stations in Shenzhen - is that true after the new regulation?

Ben, since you are a German citizen, you can take any border crossing and any mean of transport between Hong Kong and Shenzhen and you don't need any kind of visa, visa on arrival included. In other words, you can enter China, Shenzhen included in the same way as you travel to, for example, UK.

Everything you should do is to arrive at Hong Kong West Kowloon train station, fill out the arrival card and to approach the immigration. Both Hong Kong and mainland China immigration services are located at Hong Kong West Kowloon train station, so when you sit in the train, all the formalities will be behind you. Have a nice journey.
