Flights from Toronto to Guangzhou and back, flight changes/transfer from and to Hong Kong

I am a canadian citizens departing from Toronto airport,stop by Hong Kong as a transfer for for 3 hours then fly to Guanzhou with the same airline when return, I will leave Gaungzhou after 1 week using the same airline and connecting ticket stop by /trtransfer at Hong Kong to Kula Lumpur, stay for a couple of days then fly back to Toronto. Will there be any conflict against the new "144 hours Visa Free" policy?
