Hello,
I'll travelling from melbourne to Seoul with my Colombian passport. The route is Melbourne, Beijing (16 hours layover), Seoul. Any chance to go out and know Beijing?

Yes, there is a chance since your layover is quite a long one.

Upon your landing in Beijing the first thing you will do is to approach 24/144 visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit by presenting your flight tickets and your accommodation booking confirmation if you plan to have an overnight in the hotel. This application is free of charge and after a short check there is a very good chance that your permit will be granted. If and when your permit is granted, you will proceed to the immigration to enjoy your time on your own before your flight to Seoul. Have a nice and a successful journey.
