About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

How long does my passport need to be valid for when transiting?

I will be transiting through the airport (3 hour connection) on my way from S Korea to Europe. My passport is valid for 4 more months, but I heard that you need 6 for China. Does that apply to transiting through China? Do I even pass any immigration if I stay on the same airport? I am fine in both Korea and Europe.

The 6 months' validity is for China visa application. 4 months are OK for transit. If you transfer in Capital Airport, you don't need to go to the immigration and customs if holding an interline ticket.
