Obtaining Hutong Card online

Hi, thanks for the information provided here. It is really helpful for a start. Apologies if I miss this part but can I clarify if there’s an online application option for Hutong card? I noticed only Yikatong has that option as per your post.

Sorry foreigners cannot get a Hutong card online. And you need to get to the service center at Dongzhimen. You can buy a card and upgrade it there with your passport (the card can be used only after the upgrade).
