Entry to Tibet

Hi if my partner and I want to travel around China and then travel into Nepal via Tibet (overland), does the time spent in Tibet count towards our 30 days or is this covered by a separate visa? Thank you

Sorry to tell you that you are not allowed to enter Nepal via Tibet. You can only leave Tibet by train or by air according to the regulations.
Your days in Tibet is covered in the duration of your China visa.
Also, to travel to Tibet, you will need an extra entry permit in addition to the visa. To get the entry permit, you need to join a tour organized by qualified travel agencies.
