About:Chinese Paper-cut Museum

UK to Shenzhen to Vietnam

I am Vietnamese and my friend Malaysian, will be travelling from UK and transit in Shenzhen International Airport and final stop at Vietnam.

Do we need to apply for a visa or just get a 24-hour free transit visa at the immigration counter ?

If your layover time is no more than 24 hours in Shenzhen then you two naturally enjoy the visa-free transit, no meed to apply for it at the immigration counter, just get your boarding pass of next flight then wait. If you plan to leave the airport, then you two need to go to the immigration counter to get a temporary entry permit.
