Under the assumption that you do not have any other landing within mainland China beside Chengdu, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Enjoy in your journey.

Hi, can I confirm I will be able to have a transit visa via Chengdu Tianfu International airport? Some websites say only Chengdu Shuangliu international airport can get transit visa?

You can be absolutely sure and travel with absolute peace of mind. Tianfu airport is now more important than Shuangliu and it serves most connections especially those of international nature. Please, just proceed with your travel plans because you are perfectly fine and within the rules.
