About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Shanghai - Beijing - Amsterdam

Hello,
My return flight has a long overnight layover. I will be arriving at Beijing Capital Airport from Shanghai at 23:15, and my next connecting flight is the next day at 10:55 Beijing to Amsterdam.

During that time period of transit, is there a way for me to book a hotel inside the transit or close by the airport outside?

Actually, there is no a hotel located inside a terminal building, but you can rely on two hotels (Cordis and Hilton) both located quite close to the terminal building and also offering shuttles to facilitate the access. They are reachable on foot as well. In my opinion those two are your best options. As far as the formalities are concerned, you do not have to bother because your flight Shanghai to Beijing segment is a domestic one, so there are no formalities like immigration, customs or similar...
