About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise situation

What happens if I have a cruise that leaves from Tianjin? My itinerary is as follows: flight from Atlanta to Seoul, I will be there for a few days and I have a flight from Seoul to Beijing on Saturday, April 6 and the cruise leaves Tianjin on April 8, said cruise does not make any more stops in China , is heading to Japan (Royal Caribbean) in theory we would be in Chinese territory for less than 72 hours, since the ship leaves China for Japan on the 8th at 4:00 p.m., I repeat, the first stop being Nagasaki
Do you think i have a problem with the 144 permit?

Omar, you are perfectly fine and definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa.

You have to be aware that Tianjin port is perfectly eligible port of exit/entry as far as 144 hour visa free transit is concerned and the most important detail is the fact that both Beijing airports (regardless which one - both are eligible) are eligible as well. All of them belong to the same - Beijing transit area, so you can mix them as you wish. Also, your itinerary:

Seoul - Beijing - Nagasaki

Is ideal... Just one more detail... You do not have to bother about 72 hours because it is 144 hours that you are allowed to stay in China visa free with your itinerary.
