144-Hour Visa-Free Transit policy in Chengdu

Greetings:

I'm looking for some information about the 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit policy at Chengdu Tianfu Airport.

I did not find any official website that confirm the addition of this airport to enter/exit China with the above mentioned policy. There is only one airport in Sichuan Province if you see government sites: Chengdu Shuangliu International.

Do you have certain news about this matter provided from an official website?

Thanks in advance, kind regards!

In March, 2024, Tinafu International Airport became another aviation port allowing international passengers to apply for 24-hour and 144-hour visa free transit according to many reports by new agencies in of Sichuan. One of the reasons is that T1 of Shuangliu Airport is closed for upgrade.
