Question

Travelling with a Canadian passport from Tokyo to Shanghai Disneyland for 1 day then travelling to Hong Kong Disneyland for 1 day. Does this count under the 72 hour free Visa? Will I be required to book hotels for this length of stay? (Planned on flying out at night) Day 1- Tokyo 10PM flight- Day 2- Shanghai 3AM arrival. Day 2- Shanghai 10PM Flight- Day 3- HongKong AM arrival- Day 3- 10PM HongKong Flight back to Tokyo.

In fact, it is under the 24-hour visa-hour visa-free transit. Generally, they don't require a hotel reservation but you can show them your Disney ticket when apply for a temporary entry permit.
