About:Visa on Arrival

Voa from hong kong

Can I get the VOA from Hong Kong on a day before I plan to travel? (to avoid queuing on the morning of my flight ) thanks

Hanna, of course you can. Shenzhen visa on arrival is valid for 5 days, so there is no problem at all with that. However, you are advised to be at the border crossing (if you use Lo Wu) even before 09:00 when the visa office opens. You can also use a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen and apply for a visa there. Just be careful to reach the border crossing during the opening hours of Shekou visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
