About:Visa on Arrival

VOA Concern

I am a Filipina who is a tourist in Hong Kong. I wish to visit Shenzhen during my visit to Hong Kong. Is it possible to apply for VOA? I am planning to see Shenzhen for 2D and 1 only with my 2 teenage children.

The citizens of the Philippines are technically and formally eligible for 5 day Shenzhen VOA, but their success rate is very dubious. The reality is that they face usual rejections at the time of their application at the border crossing. My recommendation for you would be to postpone your visit to Shenzhen or to obtain a Chinese visa in advance in CVASC (Chinese Visa Application Service Center) in Hong Kong. I would not suggest you to risk a rejection when you apply for a VOA at the border crossing. I hope this helps.
