About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Toyko, Hong Kong, Shanghai to toyko

If we have US passports and are flying into Hong Kong disney from Tokyo, and then traveling to Shanghai to disney. Would we qualify for the 144 hour visa if we are flying back to Tokyo after finishing at Shanghai disney?

Yes, if your itinerary is looking exactly like this:

Tokyo - Hong Kong - Shanghai - Tokyo

And you do not have any other landing of any kind between the points you have mentioned, then you are definitely and undeniably eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in wider Shanghai area. You are advised to print out your flight tickets as well as your hotel booking confirmation in Shanghai.
