About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

overstaying in china during covid -19 in 2020 because of the pandemic

theoretically if someone overstayed there work visa in china when there was covid -19 because all the flights were canceled and so it was not possible to leave the country what are the consequences. this person ended up getting about 10 different plane tickets which were all canceled by the airlines as almost all the flights leaving the country were canceled so they ended up overstaying for a long time (almost 3 months) until there were more flights. do you know what should be done to fix the problem? this person still has all the e-tickets as evidence that they had to get many tickets.

If your reason it enough, I guess it doesn't affect a lot. You may explain to the embassy.
