Overstaying 2h due to layover

Hello! Is it counted as overstay if I overstay 2h due to a layover in China?
I’ll be taking advantage of the 15days visa free policy instead of applying for a visa but I guess the rules might be similar.
I’ll have a layover of 6h in China before taking my flight back home, but it departs 2h after my 15days expires. How does it work in this situation? Thanks

The 15-day visa free entry expires at 24:00 on the 15th day since you entered China. For example, if you enter China on July 1, then you should exit before 24:00 of July 15. You need to make sure that the set departure time of the flight you booked is before 24:00. You'd better consult the customs before departure. And if you book the wrong flight, you may be refused to enter.
