Visa Free Entry for Individual Tourist from Malaysia

Hi I would like to ask are individual tourist from Malaysia able to enter Hainan visa free in December 2023 with a direct flight from KL to Haikou?

We plan to travel ourselves without booking any tour from any travel agency.

Also, do we need to notify the local tour agency in Hainan regarding our itinerary prior to arrival or we can just fill in the details by ourselves at the airport?

Yes, you can enter Hainan visa-free by direct flight. According to recent feedback, registering a travel agency is not necessary and just prepare your return flight ticket and hotel reservation.
