About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

240hr visa free transit

I am travelling from UK to Beijing and staying 4 days before onward travel to South Korea and Japan (approx 10 days) before returning to Xian for a further 2 days sightseeing then travelling back to Beijing for my flight home to uk. I have bought all flights and believe that i am effectively having 2 visits under the 240hr visa free transit. I would be grateful for any information that would assist me on my holiday.
Many thanks

P Moore, under the condition that you have presented your itinerary correctly and in its entirety, I can confirm that you will be really eligible for 240 hour visa free transit twice and you do not need any kind of visa. It is immediately visible that you have properly understood how this 240 hour visa free transit functions. The only detail I would like to share with you is that you will fill out an arrival card that will be dispensed on board the plane before your landing in China. Upon your landing in China, the first thing that you will do will be to approach 24/240 hour visa free transit counter with your passport and an arrival card where you will apply for a temporary entry permit for free by presenting your flight tickets/itinerary. After a short check, you will receive a permit and then you will head to the immigration and then outside the airport to enjoy your time on your own. Have a nice journey.
