Can I bring cheese if I am only transiting in China?

I have a 15 hours transit in Shanghai and I would like to take some cheese for personal use to my final destination, is it OK to bring around 2 kg of cheese?

If your flight is not a connecting flight and you need to pass through China's customs, it is better not take it.
