About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Few questions regarding 144h Visa requirements

Dutch passport holder.
1) Is it allowed to travel with 144h transit visa from Germany (DUS) -> Beijing -> AMS? Theoretically this is A->B->C
2) "Ticket to a third country with confirmed seat and date" : Is a reservation with seat number already sufficient? Or does this need to be a print-out from the airliner?

1. DUS - Beijing - AMS is fine if these are your only stops. Is there a non-stop flight from DUS to Beijing?
2. This wording just means you must have a confirmed ticket, because stand-by is not allowed.

You are definitely correct in your assumptions. It is not important where A and C countries are located. It is enough that the immediate points before and after your Chinese destination are in different countries or eligible territories. So, your itinerary:

Düsseldorf - Beijing - Amsterdam

Is eligible for 144 hour visa free transit. Here I have to point out that, as far as I know, there is no direct flight from Düsseldorf to Beijing and I hope that you do not plan something like this:

Düsseldorf - Amsterdam - Beijing - Amsterdam

Because something like this would not be eligible for any type of visa free transit in China.

As far as the confirmed seat is concerned, this detail has become obsolete and is not required any more.
